About Me

Collecting moments
Hi there!
If you’re reading this, thank you for wanting to know more about the person on the other side of this screen. My name is Joana.

I created this blog because I get incredibly inspired by people who actually enjoy their time and value every second they have - for this reason, I make the most out of every place I go to and am always trying to find new and exciting things to do. This can range from a full-on trip across the world or just going to a new restaurant in town. I spend so much time searching for new things to do, new places to visit and new restaurants to try. Sadly, I can be a very forgetful person and might find it hard to recommend something fun to do or give tips for your next trip, so I thought: what better way to keep a record of all of these things than putting them down into words to share with the ones who appreciate the same things I do?

So, here I am, sharing some of my recent (and not so recent) experiences so I can also help you get to know some cool stuff, just like other bloggers and websites have helped me. I will be sharing things not only about my hometown, which is Cascais (a small villa in the suburbs of Lisbon, in Portugal) but also tips and some of the activities I went on while travelling across other countries.

I started travelling when I was very young, but mostly I was "dragged" along (ahah) by my mom to her work trips, and also went on an occasional snow trip in the winter time.
My first "independent" trip was in 2015, when I was 19 - I went to Paris with my cousin - and this was the first time I traveled to actually get to know a place and enjoy it to the fullest.

Now, I travel at every chance I get, but even at home I try to enjoy this beautiful place as much as possible. I hope you get some inspiration here of some things you can try to do in your own hometown. Stay tuned if you want to read about things to do and places to go in Lisbon, Portugal and, occasionally, around the world!
