Hey there, foodies!
If you’ve read any previous blog posts, you know I appreciate good food (although I’m super picky ahah), especially if combined with a nice place.
Today I will be talking about one of my favorite restaurants in the area of the Algarve: Casavostra.
I’ve known this place for many years, even before it was in the spot it is today. I was a kid and I loved that they had a Nutella pizza for desert, so every year I cried and made a fuss until I got to go back there!

Nowadays, Casavostra is located in a space in Almancil that has an indoor and outdoor area to sit. It is directly connected to a store, and after going through the store, you will see the restaurant inside, and it has a very industrial vibe. The space is wide and full of natural light. Outside, they have a decked balcony decorated with many trees, plants and a water fountain, that create a very chill and relaxing atmosphere.

Casavostra is an Italian restaurant, which pleases almost everyone. We usually start by having a garlic bread and asking for some lemonades and homemade iced tea.

They have a variety of pizzas and pasta that can be adapted if you’re not happy with the menu. The menu includes the prices for changing ingredients, so what you’ll pay for is also very transparent. I usually ask for the margherita pizza, however I’m also into the Rústica (ham and mushrooms) and their pastas are also nice. Our friends asked for a 4 cheese pizza and a Diavola (pepperoni pizza) and they also said they loved them!

One of the best parts about the restaurant is their desserts menu! I almost always ask for chocolate mousse if there’s any, and this is a really good option. They also serve homemade tiramisu (but personally I don’t like the taste of tiramisus in general - I never tried this one but it looked delicious!), pannacotta, ice creams and some others. I don’t believe they have the Nutella pizza anymore, however they have a pizza covered with chocolate sprinkles on the menu.

The last time we went there, we were 4 people eating and drinking and we paid less than 20 EUR each, drinks, appetizers and dessert included!
If you’re in the Almancil area and are looking forward to a nice Italian restaurant, I would definitely recommend Casavostra!
